Recent work by location
Each entry names the district and describes what we placed. Client names stay private; street details stay approximate.
- Zurenborg — Cogels-Osylei parlour
- A walnut secrétaire from a Ghent dealer paired with a low Belgian oak coffee table so the tall windows keep their full reveal. Curtain weight was adjusted so brass curtain poles no longer sagged at midday sun.
- Berchem — courtyard dining room
- Six rush-seat chairs and a scrubbed pine table sized to clear the garden door swing. We left the inherited sideboard, waxed only, and added a single brass pendant on a dimmer for evening meals.
- Het Zuid — loft near the museum
- A mid-century lounge chair and a 1910s bookcase sharing one wall with concrete columns. Textile partners supplied a wool rug that softens footfall without hiding the industrial floor.
- Eilandje — harbour-edge bedroom
- A narrow French armoire that cleared the spiral stair after we confirmed the turn radius on site. Hardware was cleaned, not replaced; the client kept family linens in the original drawers.
- Meir fringe — study overlooking a quiet court
- A writing desk with worn leather inlay and a swivel lamp restored to working order. Bookshelves stayed shallow to protect the plaster cornice above.
- Linkeroever — riverside flat
- A vintage daybed and two nesting tables for a room that faces west light. We chose cooler timber tones so afternoon glare would not bleach a darker mahogany piece.
What these notes leave out
We omit exact purchase prices of dealer stock because those change week to week. Studio fees for survey, placement, and restoration briefs are listed on our pricing page in EUR.
If a find resembles something you need, bring photos of your rooms to a consultation and we will hunt for a comparable scale rather than chase an identical twin.
How long a placement takes
Simple single-room integrations often finish in three to five weeks once measures are done. Full-floor work across stair landings and multiple eras can run two to three months when restoration queues are busy.
Winter deliveries in Antwerp need extra care for damp floors; we schedule soft pads and dry-out time before waxing.
