Content on this site describes design and integration services for antique and vintage furniture. It is not an auction house catalogue and prices for dealer stock change without notice.
Commissions
Work begins after written confirmation of scope and fees in EUR. Deposits for packages are non-refundable once sourcing has started with third-party dealers, except where Belgian consumer law requires otherwise for distance contracts.
Delivery dates depend on dealers, restorers, and building access; we communicate delays as soon as we know them.
Intellectual property
Placement sketches, written briefs, and text on friendlyfoundry.sbs belong to Friendly Foundry Antiques unless a contract assigns them. Clients may use delivered plans for their own home; republication needs our consent.
Neighbourhood case notes on the Finds page are anonymised and must not be treated as addresses for unsolicited visits.
Liability
We take care in measures and advice, but we are not liable for damage caused by third-party movers, building defects, or client changes to room layout after placement. Antique goods carry inherent age-related risk disclosed in condition notes.
Website information is provided in good faith; confirm current fees by email before relying on a figure.
Governing law
Belgian law governs contracts with Friendly Foundry Antiques. Courts of Antwerp have jurisdiction for disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
