From first measure on Schuttershofstraat to final placement
Survey and brief
We visit your home, measure routes, photograph existing pieces, and listen to what must stay. A written brief follows within a few days, listing room goals, era preferences, and a realistic furniture budget band in EUR.
If the brief shows the stair cannot take what you hoped for, we say so before any shopping begins.
Shortlist and approval
You receive candidate pieces with dimensions, condition notes, and dealer locations. Approvals happen by email or a short studio visit; we hold items only when dealers agree and a deposit is placed.
Rejected options are released quickly so Antwerp stock does not go cold.
Restore, then deliver
Agreed repairs happen before delivery when possible. Hardware cleaning and minor fills finish in our network; larger work waits on specialist schedules that we share with you in advance.
Delivery day includes placement checks against the plan and a punch list for anything that needs a return visit.
Aftercare
We leave care notes for wax, humidity, and textile cleaning suited to Antwerp winters. A follow-up call after two weeks catches settling issues like drawer stick or rug slip.
Additional sourcing for a second room can reuse measures if your floor plan has not changed.
Typical timelines
One-room integrations often take three to five weeks after survey. Whole-floor work with restoration queues can run eight to twelve weeks. Market seasons matter — late spring brings more dealer stock; deep winter slows outdoor markets.
Rush requests are possible for a surcharge when dealers and vans have capacity; we quote that clearly before starting.
